In times of Marketing crisis, we often see ourself stuck on how much we can get from paid ads. We’re also sick of spending hundreds of thousands on paid clicks for a very little ROAS (Return On Ads Spent).

Website traffic without spending on advertising budget needs focus

Raising website traffic without spending on advertising budget in just five days is challenging, but with a dedicated three-person team, it’s possible to make a noticeable impact.

We selected 3 team member: The Content Creator, The Social Media Specialist and the Outreach Specialist.

Here are steps and responsibilities for each team member:

1. Content Creator:

Day 1–2:

  • Research trending topics in your niche.
  • Produce high-quality, engaging articles or content pieces based on the research. Ideally, create content that answers questions or solves problems relevant to your audience.

Day 3–5:

  • Continue creating more content, focusing on different formats (videos, infographics, podcasts, etc.) if possible.

2. Social Media Specialist:

Day 1:

  • Optimize all social media profiles ensuring they have the correct links, bio, and images.
  • Share the newly created content from Day 1 on all social media platforms.
  • Engage with users in relevant groups or threads, sharing knowledge and occasionally linking back to your site (without spamming).

Day 2–5:

  • Share older content pieces, resharing evergreen pieces that always stay relevant.
  • Engage in daily social media challenges, polls, or Q&A sessions to boost visibility.
  • Collaborate with the Outreach Specialist to share guest posts or collaborative content on social media platforms.

3. Outreach Specialist:

Day 1–2:

  • Identify bloggers, influencers, or websites in your niche for potential collaborations, guest posts, or link exchanges.
  • Reach out to them with personalized pitches, showing how collaboration could be mutually beneficial.

Day 3–4:

  • Follow up with those who haven’t responded.
  • Start drafting guest posts for those who showed interest.

Day 5:

  • Share any published guest posts or collaborations on your website and social media.
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Specialist to promote this content.

General Strategies for the Team:

  • Optimize for SEO: Ensure that all the content you produce is SEO-friendly. Use tools like Google’s Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or AnswerThePublic to find high-traffic keywords.
  • Engage with the community: Join forums, social media groups, and platforms like Quora. Answer questions and establish yourself as an expert, subtly directing people to your website.
  • Leverage existing content: Repurpose older content into new formats or update them with fresh information, then share them again.
  • Fast Loading Time: Ensure your website loads quickly as users tend to abandon slow-loading sites. Use tools like Google’s PageSpeed Insights for recommendations.
  • Mobilize personal networks: Each team member should promote the website in their personal networks, urging friends and acquaintances to share.

Remember, quality over quantity. It’s better to have a few pieces of high-quality, engaging content than numerous mediocre ones.

Is the Content you produce Remarkable?

The question you should ask yourself before publishing a new piece of content: Will your audience share it to their timeline? Is it remarkable?

Similarly, genuine, value-driven engagement in communities will yield better results than mindless spamming.
